Neurodiversity Celebration Week is a global movement to recognise, celebrate, and support neurodivergent minds in schools, workplaces, and communities.

"As a teenager who is autistic and has ADHD, dyslexia, and dyspraxia, my experience has been that people often focus on the challenges of neurological diversity. I wanted to change the narrative and create a balanced view which focuses equally on our talents and strengths.”

Siena Castellon, Founder

This year, our organisations are supporting New Zealand schools, workplaces, families, and communities to celebrate the strengths of neurodivergent brains.

Sharing Strengths:
The Power of Neurodivergent Brains

Neurodivergent minds bring something unique to the world—and that’s worth celebrating! This week, we’re spotlighting five key strengths that neurodivergent people often bring to the table:

  • Creativity – Big ideas, bold imagination, and thinking outside the box!

  • Focus – Deep dives into what matters most, bringing ideas to life.

  • Sensory Strengths – Experiencing the world in vivid and powerful ways.

  • Energy – Passion, drive, and enthusiasm that spark action.

  • Self-Belief – Pushing boundaries, overcoming challenges, and staying true to yourself.

Watch this space!

Inspiring guest blogs are coming your way—showcasing how these strengths shine in workplaces, communities, and everyday life. Expect real stories, practical insights, and examples of neurodivergent people who’ve made these strengths their signature style!

Join the conversation!

How do these strengths show up for you or the neurodivergent people in your life? Share your stories using #NeurodiversityCelebrationWeek2025 and don’t forget to tag us!

However you choose to celebrate, you’re helping to create a world where neurodivergent minds are understood, valued, and supported.

Let’s make this the best Neurodiversity Celebration Week yet!
