How To Apply

This section covers MindPlus OurSchool and Online.

The application process for MindPlus YourSchool is managed by our Partner schools directly.

How do I submit an application?

Our application process is designed to gather a wide range of information about each child from home and school - their intellectual, creative, social, personal and cultural abilities and qualities. We are looking for a fit between the child’s abilities and potential and what we offer in MindPlus programmes.

The MindPlus Application consists of:

  1. Parent/ Whānau Form (including any additional (but not necessary)  information such as a psychologist’s report)

  2. Teacher Form (not required if your child is home schooled).

  3. Principal Form (not required if your child is homeschooled or will attend MindPlus Online outside school hours)

There is an Application Fee of $30 payable if/when your child is accepted into MindPlus.

All these forms are required to be submitted online before your application can be considered.

Please let your child’s classroom teacher and principal know that these are required and follow them up to ensure they have been submitted.

Applications will be processed as they are completed with a start date depending on the time of year.

How does the application process work?

Step 1.

You fill in Parent / Whanau Form.

And pass on the link to the teacher and principal forms.

We receive teacher and principal forms.

Or we keep reminding you until we do!

Step 2.

Our applications team reviews all of the information.

And makes a decision about MindPlus for your child.
